    Supanova is looking for fresh and innovative panels to showcase throughout the year!So if you have a panel idea that you want to present onstage that is fun, educational, informative or entertaining, and will appeal to the Supanova demographic, then we encourage you to fill in the following form and submit it prior to the cut off date (a month prior to each event). The more information you provide will help us to ensure a professional and diverse range of panels.* Disclosure: Submitting this form does not guarantee you a panel spot in Supanova's programming, and places are limited. An acceptance letter will be forwarded to you if you are successful.

  • The Basics

  • Please provide a detailed, informative description of what your panel will entail; we will use this to determine an appropriate room and timeslot. Do not use a marketing blurb.
  • We want to see how you've presented this panel previously, or your prior experience presenting content. Link us to your YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, where-ever you've posted your content!
  • How many people will be presenting? Just yourself, a team of experts, a model, etc.
  • Who's going to be on the panel?
  • Panel Requirements

    Every panel room includes a laptop, projector, microphones, and seating at a minimum. Tell us what's involved with your panel, and what you require so we can allocate you to a suitable room.Please note that we cannot guarantee that any special requested equipment will be available. We will be in touch to confirm your requirements once your panel has been allocated.
  • Digital Assets

    Due to the vast difference in hardware, we prefer to run all assets from our AV laptops to minimise any technical issues. We discourage the use of personal laptops on-stage unless absolutely necessary.
  • Power Point, Keynote, etc
  • Do you need a remote mouse to navigate your presentation?
  • We can cater for a different video playback but prefer mp4 and mov files encoded to web standard H.264 supplied to us before show. Our seminar rooms are setup for stereo playback. Our operators can queue up your videos as instructed.
  • Each stage is equipped with a laptop for playback of assets. We strongly discourage the use of personal laptops on-stage, but some panels may require it (e.g., Software/Game demos). While we will endeavour to make sure that your panel runs smoothly, we cannot guarantee a fault-free session when using your own laptop.
  • HDMI is preferred. Please note that Apple Macbooks require a hardware adaptor (dongle) that we do not provide, so make sure you bring one with you.
  • WARNING

    Due to the nature of our show, we cannot playback DVD, Blu-ray or DCP media. If this is a problem please let us know once your panel submission has been accepted to arrange alternatives.

  • Audio/Video Tech Requirements

    Please let us know what you require, so we can allocate you into a suitable room. All panels are supplied with handheld or table microphones depending on the stage.
  • Ie. Semi-acoustic guitars need one.
  • Musicians that sing and play instruments require mic stands. We only offer them if allocated before tour.
  • Some of our panel rooms include a camera at the back of the room to broadcast what's happening on-stage to the projectors. Other rooms, like our Imagineers stage, have a Go-Pro as part of their setup, which can be brought onto the stage or set up on the table space to capture the closer details.
  • Do you need anything not listed above?
  • Stage Requirements

    We provide chairs and tables for our seminar rooms, but sometime you might need it slightly different. Please note that we cannot guarantee that your requested furniture will be available. We will be in touch to confirm your requirements once your panel has been allocated.
  • Our seminar rooms either come with a couch (big stage) or chair (with/without table). Let us know what setup you would prefer.
  • Barstool-type tall chair.
  • Standard Trestle Tables, comes w/ tablecloth.
  • Supanova provides an experienced MC to facilitate every panel, introduce panelists, and take audience questions.
  • Previously, Supanova has had the pleasure of hosting sneak peeks at movies, such as Mad Max: Fury Road, premiere episodes of Daredevil, Wolf Creek, and Trollhunters with either strict Bag and Tag requirements, or reminders not to film/record anything within the panel itself.
