I've purchased an Entry Ticket, what can I do at the Event?
Your Entry Ticket will get you access to the entire show floor from 10am to 6pm on the day/weekend of the event (depending on your Ticket type)! This includes all our wonderful exhibitors, The Alley, and all our Supa-Star Q&A panels!
To get Autographs or Photographs from our wonderful Supa-Star Guests, you’ll need to also purchase Autograph or Photograph Tokens, which are explained in more detail in the next section.
I have a question about Cosplay!
What do I do if I've lost or found something at the Event?
If you have lost something during the event, head straight to our Info Desk located near the entrance (check your Event Guide/Map for precise location). Our Info Desk team will take down your details and a description of the item to get in touch if something is handed in, or they’ll check and see if the item you’ve lost has already been handed in to them. Alternatively, if you have found something during the event, again head straight to the Info Desk and hand it in, so that we can log it and ensure it gets back to its rightful owner.
If you think you’ve lost something and it is after the Event, we hand all items back to the venue on Sunday evening, so please get in touch with the venue directly and they’ll be able to assist.
Supa-Stars, Photos and Autographs
I want to get a Photo or an Autograph, what are these 'Tokens'?
Photograph Tokens and Autograph Tokens are how you purchase your Photo-Ops with and signatures from our Supa-Star guests! These generally go on sale a little closer to the event than Admission Tickets. Simply purchase your Tokens as you would your Admission Ticket, and you’ll be able to use these to receive your Photos and Autographs.
For Photograph Tokens, you will also be required to select your preferred Photo session time at time of purchase. Your Token will only be valid for this session, so make sure you head over to the Photo Studio at the correct time.
For Autograph Tokens, each Token is valid for one (1) signature from the Supa-Star guest. Multiple signatures (or multiple items) will require multiple Token purchases. If you wish to get more than ten (10) items signed by a Supa-Star guest, please speak with one of our friendly team members in our Guest Signing Area, and they will be happy to assist.
As there is no set schedule for signings, Autograph Tokens can be redeemed on any day that your chosen guest is attending, whenever they are not at a Panel, Photo session or on a break. So feel free to wander over whenever you see them at their signing desk to have your Token barcode scanned!
When do Photograph and Autograph Tokens go on sale?
Photograph Tokens and Autograph Tokens generally go on sale a few weeks prior to the event; however, we always try and give our fans as much notice as possible. Keep an eye on our social media channels, where we will announce the sales dates as soon as they’re locked in!
I bought a Photograph Token, can my friend be in my Photo, too?
Not a problem at all! Each Photograph Token allows up to two (2) fans in a single shot, as well as up to two (2) children aged 12 or under. If you would like a second print of your Photograph, you will need to purchase an extra Token.
Please Note: The Photo Studio is currently limited to a maximum of two (2) Adults and two (2) children per photo. We hope to be able to relax this and allow multiple tokens again in the near future.
Can I get a digital copy of my Photo?
Currently we are unable to offer digital copies of our Supa-Star Photo-Ops; however it is something that many Supa-Fans have requested and we will be looking into it in the future.
I bought an Autograph Token, when can I get my Autograph?
There is no set schedule for Autographs. Our Supa-Star guests will be signing throughout all days they attend, whenever they are not at a Panel, Photo session or on a break. So feel free to wander over whenever you see them at their signing desk!
Are there any restrictions on what I can get signed?
While this is always at our guests’ discretion, most are happy to sign whatever you bring, as long as your item is legitimate (i.e. no counterfeit products) and is appropriate. Don’t have something to bring along? No problem! We offer a complimentary print with any Autograph Token purchase, so feel free to choose one at our guests’ signing desks.
How do Voice Recordings and Selfies work?
If a Supa-Star is offering Voice/Video Recordings or Selfies, these are done at the signing tables! Simply present your token(s) at the signing table just like you would for an Autograph, and you’ll be able to take a Selfie with the Supa-Star, or get a Video/Voice Recording with your own phone! Please note that Video and Voice Recordings are at the Guests’ discretion, so please ensure what you’re requesting is appropriate.
Can I bring my favourite Supa-Star a gift?
As much as we love our Supa-Stars, in order to provide a safe environment for them due to the ongoing pandemic, we are not allowing gifts to be given at this time. We’re hoping to allow this again in the near future!
Can I suggest a star for future Supanova events?
We absolutely accept guest suggestions – in fact, we have a form specifically for that! Simply visit our Guest Suggestion page and let us know who you’d like to see. Make sure to only suggest one guest per form so we can record your submission properly.

Due to the amount of activity across all of our social media channels, guests suggestions that come in via these platforms can be hard to track. By sending them through this form, they all come into the one place and can be counted and tracked by our team, ensuring we know exactly who our Supa-Fans want to see!
It says children 12 and under are free, how many children can I bring?
You can bring the whole family! We don’t have a set limit on the number of children (aged 12 and under) that paying adults can bring. We just ask that ticket holders use their best judgment to ensure that the number of guardians attending is enough to properly look after all the children in your group.
Do you accept Carers or Companion Cards?
Yes! We have a long-standing policy of allowing carers and companions into our events free of charge when they are accompanying a paid ticket holder. All the carer or companion needs to do is present their valid card when they arrive at the ticketing area with the ticket holder they will be assisting, and the Carer/Companion will be given a complimentary wristband for entry.
A new ticket type just got announced! Can I upgrade?
Can I change the day of my Entry Ticket or Tokens?
You certainly can! Simply get in touch with the team at Moshtix and they’ll be able to facilitate changing your Saturday Day Pass to a Sunday Day Pass (or the other way around), or help you swap Photo Tokens from one day to the other (pending availability).
I'm having trouble purchasing Tickets and/or Tokens!
If you’re having any issues purchasing Tickets or Tokens, logging into your account, or simply need them re-sent to you, we recommend contacting our ticketing partner Moshtix directly, as we do not have access to their systems. Their support times are Monday to Friday (9am to 7pm AEST), and Saturday (9am to 5pm AEST), and they will be more than happy to assist you with any technical issues you may be having.
Can I get a Certificate of Authenticity? (COA)?
Certificates of Authenticity (COAs) for Autographs acquired at Supanova are available to purchase at each show. We are currently only able to offer authentications for Autographs obtained at the event you are attending at the time, and cannot provide back-dated COAs.

When and where is the Supanova @ Sunset VIP Event held?
Can I bring a +1 to the VIP Event?
The VIP Event is our most exclusive event, and as such, only VIP Pass holders will be allowed to attend. The only exception is for valid Carers and Companion card holders, who will be permitted entry on the basis that they are there solely to assist a VIP.
I'm having trouble selecting my VIP Photographs or Autographs!
If you’re having any issues submitting your VIP Photograph or Autograph selections, we recommend contacting our ticketing partner Moshtix directly, as we do not have access to their system. Their support times are Monday to Friday (9am to 7pm AEST), and Saturday (9am to 5pm AEST), and they will be more than happy to assist you with any technical issues you may be having.
My chosen guest's Photograph/Autograph price exceeds the maximum value included in the VIP Package. What do I do?
If your preferred guest exceeds the maximum value for VIP Photographs ($110) or Autographs ($100), you will not be able to select them as one of your four options.
What VIPs can do in this situation is save one of their Token allocations and trade it in for a set credit value ($110 for Photographs, $100 for Autographs) to put towards their selection, then simply pay the difference. VIPs will be able arrange this in-person on the day, at the Supanova Store. One trade in per Photo or Autograph permitted, multiple allocations cannot be credited towards a single item.
Photography and Videography
I'm a photographer! Can I take photos at the event?
You’re more than welcome to take photos at Supanova for non-commercial use, and we look forward to seeing them! Our only restrictions are as follows:
In terms of equipment, handheld cameras are more than fine; however, we do not permit studio setups such as tripods, flash instruments and backdrops. Producers must also obtain waivers/releases from Supanova Comic Con & Gaming and participants if content will be used for commercial media, broadcast or narrowcast, sale or reproduction. There may be opportunities for photographers to shoot during our Supa-Star panels. However please speak to our Front of House team and follow any/all instructions provided. Media Pass holders should refer to the instructions provided to them in their correspondence with Supanova, while also adhering to instructions provided by our Front of House team. Anything that doesn’t feature a Supa-Star guest is okay to photograph in its entirety unless otherwise specified, but remember to always ask permission before you photograph any cosplayers. Please note, you will be asked to turn off the camera if you approach any of our Supa-Stars in the Guest Signing Area or other restricted locations.
I'm a filmmaker! Can I record videos at the event?
As with photography, fans are permitted to film at Supanova for non-commercial use. Our only restrictions are as follows:

I'm a streamer! Can I livestream at the event?
You can certainly stream yourself attending our event! Our only restrictions are in line with photography and videography above:

Any activity that doesn’t feature a Supa-Star guest is okay to stream unless otherwise specified, but remember to always ask permission before you take videos of any cosplayers or attendees. Please note, filming of our Supa-Star guests is strictly prohibited, and you will be asked to turn off the camera if you are seen streaming in Panels or in the Guest Signing Area.
