Supanova is set to put the ‘Comic’ in ‘Comic Con & Gaming’, this November, announcing industry icon Jeph Loeb as the latest star to join the convention’s line-up for Brisbane (5-6 November) and Adelaide (12-13 November)!

A Peabody Award-winning and two-time Emmy-nominated Writer and Producer, Loeb launched his multidisciplinary career in spectacular fashion, penning the scripts for the hit films Teen Wolf and Commando. From there, he would go on to become one of the most celebrated creators in the world of comics, best known for Batman: Hush and The Long Halloween, Superman, as well as the introduction of Red Hulk. He has since served as Executive Producer on Marvel’s television hits such as Luke Cage, starring fellow November Supa-Star Mike Colter.

Joining Loeb and previously announced international creators, Arthur Adams and Joyce Chin, fans of ‘The Big Two’ will also have the opportunity to meet local legends David Yardin and Jon Sommariva. Most recently, Yardin’s artwork has adorned the covers of Venom, while Sommariva’s latest title, Neverlanders, is due for release in Australia later this month.

For Phantom fans – or should we say Supa-Phans – Jamie Johnson and Daniel Picciotto are must-meets in Brisbane and Adelaide. Having both established themselves via the Frew Publications fave, Johnson has since made waves with his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles artwork, while Picciotto is otherwise known for creator-owned titles, Mercer and SCAMthology.

Rounding out the convention’s second wave of celebrity artisans, Supanova is proud to welcome back industry veteran Mark Raats. One of Australia’s premier film and TV artists, Raats has illustrated theatrical posters for Indiana Jones and Star Wars, as well as promotional imagery for The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian.
