Confirmed Guests ‘Arrowverse’, ‘Winnie the Pooh’ Stars Sign On For Supanova On The Gold Coast & In Melbourne!

No Guest Found in this category

With just one month to go until Supanova Comic Con & Gaming blasts onto the Gold Coast (15-16 April 2023) before jetting into Melbourne (22-23 April 2023), the convention prepares to host one of its biggest line-ups to date! Joining the likes of Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff and Stephen Amell, Supanova has announced its third wave of celebrity guests en route this April.

Unfortunately, scheduling conflicts have meant that previously announced talent Phil LaMarr and Emily Bett Rickards will no longer be able to attend next month’s events. Responding to Supanova’s ‘Black Siren’s call, The Arrowverse’s Laurel Lance a.k.a. Katie Cassidy now assumes the mantle of Supa-Star across both cities.

From one legendary voice actor to another, animation sensation Jim Cummings is also set to attend, making his debut with the event. A multi-Emmy Award nominee, Cummings is the voice behind Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Darkwing Duck and more – a must-meet for Disney fans!

La Brea and Merlin star Eoin Macken joins April’s round table of Supa-Stars, honouring his promise to return after last-minute scheduling conflicts rendered him unavailable last November. He appears alongside actor-turned-author Luke Arnold of the Fetch Phillips series and Black Sails fame.

Local lads Todd Lasance and Lincoln Lewis (Melbourne only) will make Supanova their Home and Away from Home, this April, along with perennial favourite John Jarratt, attending both cities. Meanwhile, Star Trek fans won’t want to miss Emmy Award-winning Makeup and SFX artist Thomas Surprenant appearing in Melbourne! The 30-year industry veteran will be delivering a two-hour Masterclass Demonstration, tickets for which are on sale now via Moshtix.

From the haunting sands of Tatooine to the endless sands of the Gold Coast, Star Wars and Obi-Wan Kenobi actress Bonnie Piesse joins us as a Gold Coast exclusive! The Star Wars Supa-Star is set to attend alongside star of the Hobbit Trilogy Stephen Hunter, who is fresh from his appearance as the Fur God in Thor: Love and Thunder!

With his character Stuart Bloom being no stranger to comic stores or comic cons, The Big Bang Theory’s Kevin Sussman will feel right at home, appearing exclusively in Melbourne thanks to Millennium Collectables. PRToysAU will also present Power Rangers Mystic Force star Richard Brancatisano, while The Sons of Obiwan Sabre Academy will reunite Gold Coast fans with Star Wars and The Matrix alumnus Matt Doran.

Unfortunately, Supanova has also had to say goodbye (for now) to the previously announced Melbourne exclusives, Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley, who have some exciting new roles and opportunities making them unavailable for the upcoming shows.

Whether you’re a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, musicals or makeup, there’s so much to see and do at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, this April! VIP, Supa-Q and General Admission Passes are on sale now via Moshtix, with Autograph and Photograph Tokens expected to go on sale shortly.
