In case you missed the exciting announcement, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming is ‘levelling up’ in 2025, with three full days of fandom fun on the horizon for Adelaide (31 October – 2 November) and Brisbane (7-9 November)!
Powered by ACS (Australian Computer Society), ‘Level Up’ is set to return for the Friday of each city, inviting school-aged and tertiary students, as well as Supa-Fans of all ages, to explore the explosion of opportunities emerging within the gaming and technology sectors.
Bringing his trademark energy, sharp wit, and passion for the industry to inspire inquisitive young minds, ACS and Supanova are proud to present the master of math, science, and storytelling, Adam Spencer, as Level Up’s first keynote speaker, slated to attend exclusively on Friday, 31 October in Adelaide, and Friday, 7 November in Brisbane.

‘Level Up’ keynote speaker Adam Spencer
Spencer is known for hosting award-winning breakfast radio shows in Australia’s toughest markets and has famously interviewed Prime Ministers, Hollywood stars, Fortune 500 CEOs, Nobel Prize-winning scientists, and Australians of the Year. Notably, he was also the first person in the world to ever interview our legendary Thai cave rescuers.
Also set to share his industry insights on Friday in both cities is returning Supa-Star director Alex Proyas. One of Australia’s most celebrated sci-fi auteurs, Proyas is internationally acclaimed for his cult classic films, The Crow and Dark City, and is slated to appear across all days of the conventions.
In addition to celebrity speakers, Supa-Star guests, and a hall full of shopping opportunities, Level Up is set to host epic esports showdowns, including Rocket League; hands-on workshops in gaming, coding, and creative industries; career-focused panels featuring industry leaders, plus so much more. It’s the perfect chance to take the first steps in pursuing your dream job in the world of digital innovation!
What’s more, Adelaide Supa-Fans can expect to get spooky, with the Friday of this year’s event falling on Halloween. It’s all treat, no tricks, with “Spookinova” reveals expected to be announced in the lead-up to the fan-favourite holiday.
Tickets to Supanova in Adelaide and Brisbane are on sale now via Ticketbooth, with further information on Friday’s programming and attending Supa-Stars to be released in the lead-up to November. For all the latest news and announcements, stay tuned to @SupanovaExpo’s social media channels.
