From Westeros to K’un-Lun to Australia, Iron Fist, Defenders and Game Of Thrones star Finn Jones leads the latest announcement for Supanova Comic Con & Gaming’s Sydney (15–17 June) and Perth (23-24 June) line-ups.
After becoming a fan favourite as Loras Tyrell on Game Of Thrones, the English actor joined the Marvel Universe to play the lead in the Netflix series Iron Fist, before starring in The Defenders.
With general admission tickets on sale today via Moshtix, a further eight “Supa-Stars” have been announced for June alongside Jones, including voice-acting legends Troy Baker and Nolan North. Baker is one of the busiest voice actors in the gaming industry, from playing Joel in The Last Of Us, to Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, and the Joker in Arkham Origins, while North has hunted for treasure as Uncharted’s Nathan Drake, slayed Templars as Desmond Miles from Assassin’s Creed and more.
The June line-ups also welcome two Power Rangers into the midst, confirming David Yost, who played the Blue Ranger in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, and Karan Ashley, the second-generation Yellow Ranger.
Fans will also be able to catch voice-actors Trina Nishimura (Attack On Titan), Brina Palencia (One Piece, Dragon Ball Z), Vic Mignogna (Fullmetal Alchemist, Star Trek Continues, Dragon Ball Z) and acclaimed science fiction author Raymond E. Feist, who will release his new novel, King Of Ashes, in April.
The latest announcement follows on from Stephen Amell (Arrow, TMNT2: Out of the Shadows) being confirmed as Sydney’s headline guest earlier this month.
