Sophie Monk first rose to fame as a member of the girl group Bardot, formed through the hit Australian reality series Popstars. Bardot made history as the first Australian act to debut at No. 1 with both their single “Poison” and self-titled album, cementing their status as Australia’s most successful girl group. Sophie later relocated to LA, starring in films like Date Movie (2006), Click (2006), and Spring Breakdown (2009), as well as appearing in HBO’s Entourage.
Returning to Australia, Sophie won The Celebrity Apprentice Australia, judged Australia’s Got Talent, and became a household name as The Bachelorette, with its premiere achieving record ratings. She then became the host of the smash-hit Love Island Australia and regularly features on KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show.
In 2024, Sophie captivated audiences on LEGO Masters and The Hundred with Andy Lee, hosted Love Island Australia, and became YellowTail wine’s first Australian ambassador. She also received the 2024 AACTA Most Popular Media Personality Award and will star in the highly anticipated film Zombie Plane alongside Vanilla Ice and Chuck Norris, landing in cinemas in 2025.
Sophie’s wit, charm, and versatility make her one of Australia’s most beloved and influential personalities.
