About Guest
Jan Scherpenhuizen is a mainstay of the Australian comics scene, his work includes writing and illustrating the gritty horror graphic novel The Time of the Wolves, pencilling with Michal Dutkiewicz (Wolverine, Lost in Space) and inking Chewie Chan on Buckaroo Banzai 2.
He’s also done a slew of work with ace comics writer Christopher Sequeira with whom he has developed and created numerous properties including Mister Blood and the Catamorph. Recently, he completed writing and drawing a 350-page literary novel-graphic novel-thesis as a doctoral project at the University of Sydney which will be released in a commercial format in 2025. His short stories have appeared in the anthologies Sherlock Holmes: The Australian Casebook; Cthulhu Deep Down Under; Sherlock Holmes and Dr Was Not; and Dracula Unfanged.
Recently he completed covers and art for the final chapter of the SuperAustralians 4-part comic book series. His latest work is the cover and internal art on the lead story in THE HUMAN FLY #0 issue, written by Sequeira and out in July from IPI comics!
