About Guest
Donna Burke is a Perth singer, actress and lyricist who has lived in Tokyo since 1996. She has appeared in iconic games including Silent hill 2 and 3, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Metal Gear Solid and in anime including Magical Lyrical Nanoha and Tokyo Ghoul.
Donna’s thrilling vocal “Heavens Divide” from MGS Peace Walker in 2010 cemented her status as a video game legend and in 2015 Konami commissioned her to reinterpret hits including “Snake Eater,” “Can’t say Goodbye to Yesterday” and “Love’s Theme”.
Her 2016 release “Ganime Jazz, Game + Anime”, reinterpreted ten of her game and anime hits with a Tokyo based jazz quartet. Since 2017 she has performed with Metal Gear in Concert with orchestras in Paris, New York, LA, Osaka and Tokyo.
Donna is a voice actress with credits including ARMS (Doctor Coyle) Fitboxing (Laura) MGSV: The Phantom Pain (iDroid) Silent Hill 2 (Angela) and Silent Hill 3 (Claudia) but her most famous job since 2004 is the English announcement on the Tokaido Shinkansen.
