There are a number of ways you can travel to the Melbourne Showgrounds. The public transport system in Melbourne uses the electronic myki card, which can be purchased at newsagents, 7Eleven outlets and from customer service or ticket machines at train stations. Travel across Victoria is free travel across the entire public transport network for the month of April, so be sure to make the most of it!
The Main entry will be via Gate 11, and via the car park at Gate 7.

Train
Getting to the Showgrounds on Saturday
Trains will depart from Southern Cross Station, to Flinders Street Station, North Melbourne, then express to the Melbourne Showgrounds:
- From 09:31, there will be a 20 minute service to the showgrounds. Please note this first train at 9:31am will depart from Flinders Street Station, with subsequent trains departing from Southern Cross.
- These services will run every 20 mins until 2:03pm, where it will become every 30 mins.

Trains will depart from Melbourne Showgrounds stopping at North Melbourne and Southern Cross Station:
- every 30 minutes from 09:35am to 6:30pm

Drive
Entry to the Showgrounds car park is via Gate 7, off Leonard Crescent. Parking is $25.00 per day, which is paid on entry.
Tram
Trams will operate on Route 57 on Saturday and Sunday, with the closest stop to the Showgrounds at Stop 32 Sandown Road/Epsom Road.
The tram stop is approximately 650 metres from the Event entrance at Gate 11.
Taxi
Taxis can collect you from Gate 1, Epsom Road, Showgrounds. Note that there may be a significant wait on Saturday evening.
Alternatively you may want to try one of the many ride-share apps available.
