Supanova Comic Con & Gaming is taking things to the extreme this year, welcoming Mountain Dew to the family as a sponsor in 2020.
The new sponsorship will see Mountain Dew take over various areas at Supanova, including the Imagineers & Gaming Stage across all shows, which will now be named “Mountain Dew presents the Imagineers & Gaming Stage”.
Additionally, the Gaming Zone will be converted to “the Mountain Dew Gaming Zone”.
Supa-Fans will be able to visit the Mountain Dew stand at all Supanova shows in 2020, where they can try free samples of Mountain Dew products – including the new Mountain Dew no sugar (same great Mountain Dew taste now with no sugar) – and go in the running to win a trip for two to San Diego Comic-Con in 2021 (flights, accommodation and entry to SDCC included)!
Mountain Dew has a long-standing relationship with pop culture, most recently enlisting Bryan Cranston for their Super Bowl commercial, which was a parody of The Shining, while previously releasing The Walking Dead limited edition packaging in the US; fitting given stars Ross Marquand, Cooper Andrews and Cassady McClincy will be attending Supanova in Melbourne and on the Gold Coast.
