Confirmed At: Gold Coast 2026
Update 02/04/26: Unfortunately due to a shooting schedule change on the Gundam movie on the Gold Coast, Michael Mando can no longer attend on Saturday as he originally intended. Michael sends his apologies, and hopes to make it up to you all when his schedule next allows him to grace our shores here in Australia.
Michael Mando recently signed a multi-film deal with Netflix and will star opposite Sydney Sweeney in the sci-fi feature Gundam (2027), which begins production in Australia in April 2026. He will also appear as the iconic Marvel character Scorpion in Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 31st, 2026), starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, and lends his voice to a still-under-wraps DC Comics super-villain expected to be announced in early spring 2026.
Also upcoming, Mando stars opposite Kevin Hart in the comedy 72 Hours (2026) and appears in Amazon Prime’s limited series Criminal (2026), alongside Charlie Hunnam and Adria Arjona.
He is best known for his acclaimed portrayal of Nacho Varga in AMC’s Better Call Saul, as well as his breakout role in the cult-favorite sci-fi series Orphan Black. He also originated the role of Vaas Montenegro in Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3, delivering a performance widely regarded as one of the most iconic villains in video game history.
Born in Canada and raised across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States, Mando brings an international sensibility to his craft. Fluent in French, English, Arabic, and Spanish, he trained in both contemporary and classical theatre.
