With Supanova Comic Con & Gaming Sydney and Perth right around the corner, many “Supa-Fans” are frantically applying the final touches to their cosplays.
Cosplay is an integral part to any convention, being one of the most creative ways to display fandom devotion. Whether one is a seasoned cosplayer or just starting out in the circuit, here are some quick budget friendly cosplays that will help fans strut their stuff this convention season.
Wednesday Addams
The eldest child of Gomez and Morticia, Wednesday Addams won’t take more than two snaps to put together… Perfect for that last-minute rush!
Cosplay Requirements:
- A little black dress (white collar is optional)
- Black tights
- Black flats or lace-up boots
- Braids or bob hairstyle (depending on which version you prefer)
Ash Ketchum
Gotta catch ‘em all! Ash Ketchum’s outfit is quite simple considering his wardrobe is made up of comfortable casual wear.
Cosplay Requirements:
- Dark green t-shirt
- Denim jeans (pale blue wash)
- Blue varsity style jacket
- Red and white flat cap
- Sneakers
- A few Pokéballs

So, what’s the sitch? Your average girl here to save the world has a pretty basic wardrobe that is so easy to find!

Debbie Thornberry
The cool and edgy 16 year-old from those Wild Thornberry’s was the epitome of angsty teenagers that many people related to all too well.

- An orange crop
- A dark green checkered shirt
- Loose fit ripped jeans
- Lace-up boots
Marty McFly
If ’80s vibes are a go, hop on a hoverboard and go Back to the Future with the ever so practical wardrobe of Marty McFly.
Cosplay Requirements:
- A blue checkered shirt
- A denim jacket
- An orange puffer vest
- Denim jeans
- White sneakers
- If you’re feeling creative you could paint an old skateboard to look like the classic hoverboard
Zatanna
As mystical and magical as they come, one can’t go past that majestic Zatanna! Extra points for any magic tricks to share with fellow geeks.

Power Puff Girls (Group Cosplay)
