Whatever the word is, you can bet Ash will serve it up to us this month when he returns on Stan alongside these hefty servings of pop goodness coming right for you.
Streaming
Stan takes us back to where our dino dreams began with Stephen Spielberg’s classic Jurassic Park as it approaches its 25th anniversary this year, and to make things even better, Funko is releasing a bare-chested Pop! Vinyl of one Doctor Ian Malcom.
If a little Jeff Goldblum doesn’t fill your genetic sequence, Stan will also premiere the forth season of iZombie on Feb 27 and Ash Vs Evil Dead season three on Feb 26, while Netflix launches Altered Carbon on Feb 2, adds new episodes of Grimm and more.
Film
An oddly horror themed month in movies is about to hit, with the Helen Mirren starring thriller Winchester, and Insidious: The Last Key adding another flick to its franchise.
There’s also a welcome return of Pinhead for the direct to DVD release of Hellraiser: Judgement. It’s going to be hard for anything this month to even come close to competing with the upcoming release of Marvel’s Black Panther on Feb 15, however.
In the lead up to anticipate third season of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection, three new films will air this year that recap the first two seasons. The first, Initiaition, hits cinemas Feb 15.
And speaking of long overdue anime sequels, it’s been almost 12 years since the original Eureka Seven anime aired, but it’s back in 2018 with a three-part film sequel, Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution. The first film hits cinemas today.
Gaming
The open world simulation mixed RPG of Kingdom Come: Deliverance isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who are down with their first genuine battle of Dysentery since The Oregon Trail, the cross platformer will be dropping on Feb 13. The rest of us will have to make do with the remake of Shadow Of The Collosus on Feb 7, Dynasty Warriors 9 on Feb 13 and Metal Gear Survive on Feb 22.
Comics
DC are getting straight up weird this month with their much publicised ‘Milk Wars’ as a new supervillain named Milkman Man is set to homogenise the DC Universe of strangeness. This is a real series, and you can see the crossover of JLA/Doom Patrol, Mother Panic/Batman, Shade The Changing Girl/Wonder Woman and more, weekly throughout Feb.
