The Supa-Stars are set to align once more, as Australia’s premier pop culture convention, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, returns to Adelaide (4-5 November) in just under a fortnight, before setting its sights on Brisbane (11-12 November)! The events will feature the cream of the pop culture crop, offering fans the chance to get up close and personal with the stars of their favourite fandoms, including Star Wars, The Boys, amongst many more.
As was announced late last week, sadly, Tomer Capone is no longer able to attend next month’s events due to factors outside of both the actor’s and Supanova’s control. The star has sent his sincerest apologies and looks forward to visiting Australia at the next opportunity.
The Boys fans have not been left wanting for long, however, as Supanova reveals the latest super-powered Supa-Star to join the Adelaide and Brisbane line-up. Series lead Laz Alonso a.k.a. Mother’s Milk will make his first appearance with the convention, otherwise known for his memorable performances as Tsu’tey in James Cameron’s Avatar, and Fenix Calderon in the Fast & Furious franchise.
Alonso is one of several big and small-screen action heroes making the trek to Supanova next month. He appears alongside martial artist and film and TV Supa-Star Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum); the most beloved bounty hunter in the galaxy, Temuera Morrison (Star Wars, The Book of Boba Fett); Netflix newcomers Morgan Davies (One Piece) and Georgie Farmer (Wednesday); Joshua Orpin (Titans), plus so many more.
Supa-Fans can immortalise their moment with their favourite stars with Photo-Ops and Autograph Tokens now on sale via Moshtix, as well as General Admission, Supa-Q and VIP Supa-Star Passes selling fast.
