With Supanova Comic Con & Gaming’s upcoming Sydney (17-18 June) and Perth (24-25 June) events just over a month away, the convention has revealed its next wave of celebrity guests, offering new and returning Supa-Star voice actors, film and TV talent, literary legends, and more!

After taking Supa-Fans on a journey to the Hundred Acre Wood last month, Emmy Award nominee Jim Cummings returns in June, best known for his voiceover work as the iconic Winnie the Pooh and Tigger! He is joined by his fellow voice actor and returning Supa-Star Neil Fanning a.k.a. the one and only Scooby-Doo in the smash hit live-action film duology.

Classic film lovers will be spoiled for choice, as Hollywood veterans Steven Bauer and Nicholas Hammond join previously announced Grease star Barry Pearl in both cities. Perhaps best known as Scarface’s Manny Ribera, Bauer received a Golden Globe nomination alongside Al Pacino, and has since guest-starred in both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul as the scene-stealing Don Eladio. Hammond’s impressive career has seen him feature in everything from The Sound of Music to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood, but Spidey-Fans will recognise him as the 1970s’ Amazing Spider-Man!

Also set to make an encore appearance are The Hobbit Trilogy’s Bombur a.k.a. Stephen Hunter; Wolf Creek’s terrifying Mick Taylor, John Jarratt; and his The Possessed co-star Lincoln Lewis, otherwise of Home and Away fame. Not ones to miss out on all the fun, fellow Summer Bay alums Todd Lasance and Matt Doran will appear exclusively in Sydney, the latter courtesy of the Sons of Obiwan.

Author Daniel O’Malley leads the charge for literary lovers next month, having recently expanded his award-winning and television-adapted Checquy Files universe with his latest book, Blitz! For those who prefer their novels more graphic, Supa-Fan favourite Stewart McKenny is the latest addition to Supanova’s comics cavalcade, beloved for his photorealistic portraiture and his work on Doctor Who and Star Wars Tales.

These celebrity guests join an already Supa-Star studded line-up, featuring the likes of Alyssa Milano (Charmed), Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch (Superman & Lois), Cristina Vee and Faye Mata (Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir), Kevin Eastman (Co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and more.
