With just under a month until Supanova Comic Con & Gaming touches down in Brisbane (5-6 November) and Adelaide (12-13 November), now is the perfect time to power through that TBR pile, as the convention reveals its line-up of incoming Literary Legends!
Having garnered over three billion global streams with her electropop stylings, Aussie songstress AViVA’s talents extend from the stage to the page as an author for ‘Outsiders’. Scribe of the YA dystopian hit, self/less, AViVA’s second book, Relentless, was released to rave reviews in August of this year.
The first-time Supa-Star is set to attend alongside veteran Literary Legends, Maria Lewis and Daniel O’Malley. Bestselling author of the Supernatural Sisters, Lewis recently concluded her award-winning series with its eighth installment, Her Fierce Creatures, while O’Malley, creator of The Rook, has just expanded his now televised universe with his latest work, Blitz.
Also scheduled to return are Supa-Stars T. R. Napper and Richard Swan, known for their recent novels, 36 Streets and The Justice of Kings, respectively. These titles quite literally flew off the shelves in June, so be sure to grab your copies as quick as you can!
Making the trip for the first time since 2016, Supanova is thrilled to welcome back The Territory series author Justin Woolley, ahead of his third Shakedowners novel, Slack to the Future. Meanwhile, making her debut appearance, Freya Marske will bring the first two volumes of her Last Binding trilogy to Brisbane and Adelaide, the second of which, A Restless Truth, is due for publication on the first of next month.
Headed exclusively to Brisbane, fantasy lovers will not want to miss bestselling author Lynette Noni! Having quickly become a Supa-Fan fave with her acclaimed Medoran Chronicles, Noni recently completed one of her most ambitious sagas to date with The Blood Traitor, the final installment in her dark fantasy trilogy, The Prison Healer.
Garrison7: The Fallen creator Scott Brewer is also set to attend as a Brisbane exclusive, alongside IFWG Publishing Australia representative and Olivia Stone and the Trouble with Trixies author Jeffery E. Doherty. Adelaide fans will have the opportunity to catch International Rubery Award-winner Jo Riccioni, hot on the heels of her all-new feminist fantasy work, The Branded, hitting shelves this October.
Featuring a Supa-Star studded line-up including film and television guests Alex Kingston (Doctor Who), Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator), and the recently revealed Matt Doran (The Matrix, Star Wars) who will attend courtesy of The Sons of Obiwan only in Queensland, fans can now secure their November Autographs and Photo-ops via Moshtix. General Admission, Supa-Q and VIP Supa-Star Passes are on sale now for the ultimate fan experience. For all the latest event information, keep an eye on the Supanova social media channels!
