Our friends at Madman Anime and Bandai Spirits have announced that Japan’s #1 prize game – Ichiban Kuji – will feature at Supanova in Melbourne on 5-6 March!
Previously only available in Japan’s anime shops and convenience stores, Ichiban Kuji is a fun way to get limited edition merchandise and collectibles of your favourite anime brands.
Each Ichiban Kuji game at Supanova in Melbourne will consist of 70 – 80 tickets and will feature beloved franchises including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, Evangelion, One Piece and Kirby. There will be new games to play each day during the convention.
The fan-favourite prize game system is so popular because there are no losing tickets! Prizes in each Ichiban Kuji game are divided into categories by letters between A – I. The more valuable prizes like figurines and statues are given when securing the elusive A and B tickets, while smaller prizes like trading cards and badges are awarded for H and I tickets.
Each ‘Ichiban Kuji’ game also features a ‘Last One’ prize, awarded to the person who buys the last ticket in that game. This prize is rarer than all other prizes in the game and highly sought-after by collectors.
There is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy, so simply locate the Ichiban Kuji stand at Supanova and buy tickets to the game that features your favourite show or brand. Peel off the back to reveal your prize and trade in your ticket to receive it! Share your prize with #KujiAUS and get a bonus Ichiban Kuji mascot pin to add to your collection!
The Ichiban Kuji stand will be at Supanova in Melbourne this weekend at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
