Since 2015, Superheroes Events Limited has been an Exhibitor at Supanova in Sydney, fostering a friendship and relationship that has now evolved into a ground-breaking charity partnership. This collaboration aims to raise vital funds to support families with chronically ill children and those in need of benevolent assistance at the Supanova Superheroes Community Care River Retreat.
With over ninety events across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and the Gold Coast since the year 2000, Supanova has become the go-to destination for pop culture fandom in Australia. It provides a platform for fans of comics, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, and literature to come together and celebrate their shared passion. Supanova showcases aspiring talent, artists, and creators, giving them the opportunity to share their work with like-minded individuals. The Supanova Superheroes Community Care River Retreat, located on the picturesque Shoalhaven River, provides families with a much-needed respite from their everyday routines. The newly renovated waterfront sanctuary offers a range of indoor and outdoor activities, allowing families to relax and rejuvenate during their stay.
Superheroes Events Limited, established in 2014, is a not-for-profit volunteer company that operates the Supanova Superheroes Community Care River Retreat. An ACNC-registered Public Benevolent Institution with DGR1 charity status, the organisation is dedicated to supporting families in crisis and giving back to the community. Some of the Australian and world-first activities and events originated by Superheroes Events Limited, together with Supanova, will be be taken to a national audience.
