Outlander fans are sure to be in “good spirits” with the announcement that Supanova Comic Con & Gaming in Sydney (21-22 June) and Perth (28-29 June), Australia’s premier pop culture convention, is hosting Kilted & Distilled: An Outlandish Adventure in Oz, featuring series lead and internationally acclaimed star, Sam Heughan!
Promising to be a “dram” good time, Kilted & Distilled ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet Heughan in Sydney and Perth this June with this special event coinciding with, and being hosted by, Supanova. Best known for his role as Jamie Fraser in STARZ’s hit series Outlander, Sam has additionally gained acclaim as a whisky distiller, releasing his very own blended Scotch, The Sassenach.
Two unique ticket types, aptly titled Kilted & Distilled: Lallybroch and Fraser’s Ridge, are being offered with inclusions ranging from intimate VIP meet and greets to panel access, photo-ops and autographs. However, the event’s top-shelf offering is undoubtedly the chance to share a Scotch with the fan-favourite Scotsman!
That’s right, Supa-Fans. Lallybroch pass holders will be able to sample Sam’s award-winning blend themselves at an exclusively 18+ whisky tasting, featuring the star himself as your bartender! This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Outlander fans is sure to go down smooth, so don’t be left on the rocks, as tickets will be strictly limited. That’s not all the “outlandish” news. Fans of Kilted and Distilled also have full access to the Supanova events in Sydney and Perth featuring Heughan’s series co-stars David Berry a.k.a. Lord John Grey, and Charles Vandervaart, Lord Grey’s adopted son, William Ransom, with prioritised access to Berry and Vandervaarts’ panels, signatures, and photo-ops across each weekend.
