Hi, Supa-Fans. This is an important announcement regarding Supanova 2021 – Adelaide.
Unfortunately, the latest changes to South Australia’s border restrictions have spelled bad news for our Adelaide show. As it stands, it’s now very unlikely that our Queensland-based team, as well as many of our Supa-Stars and Exhibitors, will be able to physically get to Adelaide for our October dates, with further restrictions prohibiting travellers from attending large scale events, such as our own.
With our Victorian and New South Wales crew unable to attend, the remainder of our 2021 calendar hinges entirely upon our Queensland team. Without them, it’s just not possible for us to deliver an event to the scale and standard we set for ourselves. Regrettably, it’s for this reason that we must announce the postponement of this month’s Supanova in Adelaide.
While we’re absolutely gutted to miss you this Halloween, we’re doing everything we can to try and still bring you a sensational Supanova experience in 2021. As we speak, our team are working with the endlessly supportive Adelaide Showground to explore all the options for alternative dates towards the end of the year. We’re hoping to have an answer for you very soon and will be letting fans know either way by Friday, 15 October, so we appreciate your patience!
Brisbane fans, we figure some of you might be stressing right about now. Rest assured, as our Queensland crew is large enough to hold the fort, border restrictions thankfully won’t be an issue for Supanova 2021 – Brisbane. We’re currently still all good for November, with guest announcements coming your way very, very shortly, so hang tight!
