‘Star Wars’ Legend John Boyega & More Announced For Supanova In Adelaide & Brisbane!

Written by Supanova Comic Con & Gaming - July 16, 2025David Wheeler

Update 07/10/25: Unfortunately, Cameron Monaghan is no longer able to attend Supanova in Adelaide and Brisbane. The following article has been updated to reflect this update, as well as the change below.

Update 15/08/25: Due to landing an exciting new role, Supa-Star Richard Harmon has been forced to postpone his planned appearance at Supanova in Adelaide and Brisbane in November.

After presenting two of their biggest events to date late last month, there’s no slowing down for Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, as Australia’s premier pop culture event reveals their first wave of stars for the three-day extravaganzas in store for Adelaide (31 October – 2 November 2025) and Brisbane (7-9 November 2025)!

Star Wars Supa-Stars are set to collide, as John Boyega awakens the Force in both cities, marking his debut appearances at the event. Rocketed to international fame as FN-2187 a.k.a. Finn in Star Wars: Episodes VII – IX, Boyega has cemented his place among sci-fi’s leading men, starring in Attack the Block, They Cloned Tyrone, and Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Joining him from a galaxy far, far away exclusively in Adelaide is Diana Lee Inosanto, known for her recurring role as Morgan Elsbeth in Ahsoka and The Mandalorian.

Wrapping up an All-Star year for Superman Supa-Fans, Supanova is set to host Superman & Lois’ Alex Garfin a.k.a. Jordan Kent, son of the show’s titular heroes, alongside the voice of Gorilla Grodd, David Sobolov, who rolls out with fellow Transformers mainstay Gregg Berger, voice of Dinobot leader Grimlock.

Meanwhile, fan-fave Nolan North finds himself in ‘Uncharted’ territory, slated to make his first-ever Supa-Star stops in Adelaide and Brisbane. With characters such as Nathan Drake, Desmond Miles and more under his Assassin’s hood, he is joined by fellow industry royalty, Jim Cummings, the unmistakable voice of Hundred Acre Wood’s Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

Literature lovers will be feeling “All Better Now” with the announcement of New York Times bestselling author Neal Shusterman, with international Supa-Star Abigail Owen of The Crucible trilogy fame set to appear only in Brisbane.

Putting the “novel” in “graphic novel”,  Supa-Stars Charles Soule and Ken Steacy extend the Star Wars universe in both cities, supported by a cavalcade of local illustrators and comic creators including Mark Raats, Scott Wilson, Wolfgang Bylsma, plus so many more.

Supanova is “levelling up” in Adelaide and Brisbane, promising three action-packed days of educational activities as part of Level Up, powered by ACS (Australian Computer Society). With Supa-Stars scheduled to attend across the weekend, select guests are expected to drop in early for the Friday festivities, so book your Day, Weekend, VIP and Supa-Q Passes now via Ticketbooth to get a head-start on these epic events!
