See how deep the rabbit hole goes, as Supanova Comic Con & Gaming reveals The Matrix’s Matt Doran as the latest addition to our Supa-Star line-up for Adelaide (11-12 December 2021)!
Plugging into the guest list alongside previously announced stars David Wenham, Outlander’s David Berry and more, Doran quickly rose to international fame via his role as Mouse in the Wachowski sisters’ breakout mega-hit, The Matrix. Subsequently, the actor featured in the hugely successful Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, appearing opposite Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi as Elan Sleazebaggano, the Balosar death stick dealer.
From science fiction to science fact, Doran is joined by Dr Rob Morrison and Dr Deane Hutton of the classic Australian science program, Curiosity Show, attending on Sunday only. Originally broadcasted from 1972 to 1990, the educational series aired across Australasia, Asia, and Europe, accumulating a wealth of awards including winning the 1984 Prix Jeunesse International, the world’s top award for TV programs for young people. After releasing the first new Curiosity Show episode in nearly a quarter century in 2014, the dynamic duo appears hot-on-the-heels of Morrison’s recently published memoir, Curious Recollections – Life in the Curiosity Show.
