The team who brought you Occupation (2018) and Red Billabong (2016) are back with an epic sci-fi sequel in Occupation: Rainfall, and they’re heading to Supanova Comic Con & Gaming this weekend at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
With the action film currently in production, writer, director and executive producer Luke Sparke will bring some of the film’s cast and crew to Supanova for an exclusive world first sneak peek with behind-the-scenes footage.
Zac Garred (General Hospital, Occupation), Dan Ewing (Home and Away, Red Billabong) and Kat Risteska (Occupation, Chasing Comets) will join Sparke as well as internationally renowned actor and Supa-Star Daniel Gillies (The Vampire Diaries, The Originals), the latest addition to the cast.
The panel commences at 12:30pm on Saturday in the FilmInk Features Theatre and is a highlight that’s not to be missed, along with other local industry production panels including Reaching Distance, Garrison 7, Zero-Point and Hot Glue – A Cosplay Documentary.
Yes, Supanova brings fans some of the world’s best talent to Australia, but at its core, it’s also about celebrating the amazing contributions our local creatives makes to the worldwide pop culture movement. Between local comic book creators, game designers, sci-fi/fantasy authors and filmmakers, Supanova is an event not to be missed!
