Wirru is a cosplayer, costume craftsman and workshop presenter.
He has been cosplaying since 2006, has made over 80 costumes and has received over 70 awards – including the Madman National Cosplay Championships in 2010 and 2014, and WCS Australia in 2012.
He specialises in making costumes quickly and cheaply and is eager to show and teach everyone how to do the same.
Wirru loves cosplay because it’s a combination of all his creative hobbies such as drawing, sculpting, designing and crafting. Wirru enjoys sharing experience and knowledge in a humorous and relatable way.

Day and Weekend Pass holders are encouraged to arrive promptly to queue for any panels they wish to attend, as seating is not guaranteed and is provided on a first-come-first-served basis, behind VIP, Supa-Q and Specialty Pass holders.
