After closing the final chapter of Teen Wolf, MTV’s highest-rated and longest-running scripted show (100 episodes), Tyler Posey recently starred in the Blumhouse thriller Truth or Dare, produced by Jason Blum (Get Out, Split), opposite Lucy Hale. In early 2019, Posey costars in the upcoming Starz comedy series Now Apocalypse, from Gregg Araki and Steven Soderbergh.

Posey played the lead character Scott McCall on Teen Wolf, which aired its 100th and final episode in September 2017. Currently, Tyler recurs on the award-winning series Jane the Virgin as Jane’s (Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez) first love Adam, and recently joined the cast of MTV’s Scream: The TV Series for season three.

Host of TEEN CHOICE 2014 and the winner of multiple TEEN CHOICE Awards for “Choice Male Summer TV Star,” Posey has also won an ALMA Award for “Favorite TV Actor” and was one of Variety’s “Power of Youth” honorees for his work with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

His other TV credits include Comedy Central’s Workaholics, ABC Family’s Lincoln Heights and ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, as well as voicing Prince Alonso on Disney Channel’s Elena of Avalor.

Already a recognizable TV star due to the tremendous fan base of Teen Wolf, Posey has begun to establish himself on the big screen as well. In 2016, Posey starred in Kevin Smith’s feature comedy Yoga Hosers. In 2013, he co-starred in the cult spoof franchise Scary Movie 5, alongside Molly Shannon, and in the indie film White Frog. In 2002, Posey starred in his first films two films Maid in Manhattan (as Jennifer Lopez’s son) and Collateral Damage (alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Tyler was born in Santa Monica, California and later moved to Valencia where he primarily grew up. Tyler started taking bass and guitar lessons at the early age of 12 years old and has been the lead guitarist in several bands. When he’s not working, Tyler likes to pick up his acoustic guitar and play for hours, ride his motorcycle, or go to Venice to skateboard with his buddies.
