About Guest
Tetsuo Kurata is a Japanese actor and singer best known for his iconic role as Kotaro Minami in the Kamen Rider franchise.
He rose to fame portraying Kotaro Minami / Black in Kamen Rider Black (1987–1988) and reprised the role in Kamen Rider Black RX (1988-1989). His performance made him one of the most recognizable leading Riders of the late Showa era. (Footage of Kamen Rider Black RX was used in “Saban’s Masked Rider” TV show.)
Beyond acting, Kurata has been active as a singer and has remained a notable figure at tokusatsu events and anniversaries, maintaining a strong fan following worldwide.
