About Guest
Shailee is an Australian educator and author. Her writing is characterised by its sparkling wit, self-deprecation, pop-culture references and a dash of rose-coloured realism.
Her debut novel, How to Kill a Guy in Ten Dates, is a Slasher Rom-Com that proves all is fair in love and gore, exploring just how terrifying modern dating can be. Her second novel, While You Were Screaming, is a Rom-Cult-Com that shows how falling in love can either be time of your life or the end of it.
When not writing or talking about her characters like they’re real people, you can find her kidnapping her friend’s dogs or competing with the person next to her at the gym (…yes, Pilates can be competitive).
