Regina looks forward to meeting all her fans in Sydney in June 2017.
Regina will participate in a general admission Q&A, and signing sessions on Friday (2:00pm to 5:30pm), and throughout Saturday (10.30am to 5.30pm) and Sunday (11am to 5pm) in Sydney.
About Guest
Regina Akora is a Perth based freelance comic artist that has been published internationally. Between 2015-2016 she worked for the proclaimed Shounen Manga Anthology, Saturday AM in creating the one shot manga Otome Life, that featured over 4 issues. Her self-published work LOLI-POP! has also appeared in NEO magazine, a U.K. manga and anime magazine that highlights the latest up and coming manga-inspired artist in the West.
Her desire to create diverse stories in the comic medium developed when she was studying her Bachelor of Arts majoring lllustration. During that time she self-published her first series LOLI-POP!, and has been working on the project for what is coming to 3 years in-between freelance work on other comic projects.
Currently, Regina is preparing to release Book 2 of LOLI-POP! later this year and has been stocked in both Tokyo Underground in Perth and KINGS Comics in Sydney. She hopes to finalise her current projects, debut a second series in 4 koma style.
