Since graduating film school in 2002, Michael has worked professionally in the film industry for over 15 years in both production and post-production on feature films, television series, TV commercials, and music videos. Mike began directing professionally in 2007. His films and TVC’s have screened and won awards both at home and internationally.
Mike’s passion is storytelling and performance. He is a multi-skilled, highly adaptable filmmaker across genre and format. Be it drama, documentary, or commercials, he is comfortable with A-list talent or real people, kids, and animals. His background in camera, sound, and visual effects ensure that he is technically immersed in all aspects of production to delivery.
Mike co-directs with his business partner Lav Bodnaruk, and the two formed the award-winning Chop Shop Post in 2010.
