Martin Kove is best known for his role as John Kreese, the main antagonist of The Karate Kid series, and reprised the role in the Smash Netflix series Cobra Kai. Kove was a regular on the TV series Cagney and Lacey and appeared in Rambo: First Blood Part II and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
His son Jesse, also an actor, plays David in Cobra Kai. His character bullies a younger version of John Kreese. Jesse is also a host of a successful podcast called “Kicking it With the Koves” with his twin sister Rachel and father.
