Marc looks forward to meeting all his fans in Sydney in June 2018.
Marc will give a Q&A panel, and sign autographs throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Sydney.
Further information on Marc’s panels will be listed in our Event Programme, released closer to the convention.
Born in 1972, in Katherine, NT and married with three children Marc had always loved to read, in particular fantasy fiction. His favourite authors include J.R.R. Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, Stephen King, Raymond E. Feist and the awesome Matthew Reilly. Growing up he was always a bit of a geek, in particular his love of comics and horror movies, something that has stayed with him well into his “mature years”.
Marc was a soldier in the Australian Defence Force for nearly 20 years, having served on operations in Rwanda and East Timor, and later an instructor at the School of Infantry. He’s a qualified cinema graphic make-up artist, having trained under Oscar winner Peter Frampton; he had high aspirations of being the next Tom Savini. Marc enjoys keeping fit, reading and annoying his kids.
Marc still love cheesy B grade movies, in particular anything with zombies and he loves hanging out with his brothers every chance he gets, both of whom are successful writers in their own respective fields.
On writing Marc said, “Perigord has been an immensely satisfying journey and one that has yet to reach its final destination.”
