Lochlyn looks forward to meeting all his fans on the Gold Coast in April 2017.
Lochlyn will conduct a general admission Q&A, and participate in signing and photo sessions* throughout Saturday (10.30am to 5.30pm) and Sunday (11am to 5pm).
When one mentions the actor Lochlyn Munro, the first word that comes to mind is
versatility. Lochlyn has proven time and time again that he can make the transition
between playing comedy and drama with a seamless ease.
Lochlyn started his acting career after a serious sports injury ended his dream of becoming a professional hockey player. A talented musician as well, Lochlyn turned his attention to the performing arts. While playing music in various venues around Vancouver, Lochlyn studied drama and improvisational comedy with many of the industries well known professionals, including the late, great Susan Strasberg.
Enjoying his experiences and accomplishments from doing stage work, Lochlyn jumped into the world of television and film with instant success, landing his first professional role on Fox’s hit TV show, 21 Jump Street (1987).
He followed that up with a 4 year run on the successful CBC teen drama, Northwood
(88-91). His first major American film was in Clint Eastwood’s Academy Award winning
film, Unforgiven (1992).
Now with over 200 credits to his name, Lochlyn is widely recognized for his memorable
roles in such hit films as Dead Man On Campus (1998), A Night At The Roxbury (1998),
Scary Movie (2000), Freddy v Jason (2003), and White Chicks (2004) just to mention a few.
The wide range of characters he plays in both film AND television has made him one of
Hollywood’s most sought after performers.
Lochlyn can currently be seen in the CW’s breakout series, Riverdale, where he co stars as Hal Cooper. Other notable TV credits include Major Crimes, Chicago Med, Lucifer, Bones, Scorpion, Longmire, Arrow, Castle… and the list goes on.
Lochlyn continues to bring dimension, depth, and truth to every character he plays and will most definitely be gracing your tv and movie screens for a long time to come.
