About Guest
Liam O’Brien is a Los Angeles-based actor, writer and director known for his roles in animation and video games, as well as the massively popular hit show and media brand, Critical Role.
As a veteran voice actor, Liam has worked on over 500 video game and animation projects. He has worked on a score of Marvel titles such as Avengers Assemble and Marvel Rivals, voicing Doctor Strange, Nightcrawler, Redskull, and more. A handful of other favorite roles include Illidan Stormrage in World of Warcraft, Underbite in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Gaara in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Naruto: Shippûden, Professor Maelstrom in Carmen Sandiego, Gollum in Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Reverse-Flash in Injustice 2, War in Darksiders I, II & III, Akihiko in Persona 3, Grimoire Weiss in Neir: Replicant, Yasuo in League of Legends, Jedi Master Maru in Young Jedi Adventures, Bolo in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Lyste in Star Wars: Rebels, and of course, as Vax in The Legend of Vox Machina, which he created with his nerdy family at Critical Role.
In addition to his long list of acting roles, Liam has also spent a great amount of time outside the booth, both as voice director and writer on projects such as The Legend of Vox Machina, The Last of Us, The Witness, Evolve, Shadow of Mordor, LEGO Dimensions, Naruto: Shippûden, World of Warcraft, Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6, among others.
