Director/Creator Grant Sputore looks forward to meeting fans in Sydney and Perth in June 2019.
Further information on panel times will be listed in our Event Programme, released closer to the convention.
Grant Sputore is the creator and director of the new sci-fi property I Am Mother, starring Clara Rugaard alongside two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank and the voice of Rose Byrne. The film is Sputore’s debut feature and had its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The story follows a young girl (Rugaard) who is raised by a robot (Byrne) after the extinction of human-kind, but the pair’s unique bond is threatened with the arrival of an inexplicable survivor (Swank). Featuring an incredible, all-practical robot at its centre – (created by the geniuses at Weta Workshop), the film is available world-wide on Netflix.
