About Guest
Holly Marie Combs is an American actress who grew up in New York, and who started in front of the camera from an early age with print ads and commercials.
Her first onscreen credit was in 1988 with the film Sweet Hearts Dance, a rom-com starring Don Johnson and Susan Sarandon.
Holly had bit parts in several films before landing the starring role of Kimberly in the television series, Picket Fences.The show ran for 4 years, winning Holly critical acclaim and a Young Actors award.
It was Holly who told her best friend, and fellow Supa-Star alum, Shannen Doherty, about a new television show based around three sisters who happen to be witches convincing her to also audition. It was then Shannen who insisted she wouldn’t take the role unless Holly also won the role as the middle sister, Piper Halliwell in the series, Charmed. Holly wound up producing the show from season 5 onwards, and is the only cast member to appear in the unaired pilot and every episode of the series.
In Holly’s latest role, she stars as Ella Montgomery (Aria and Mike’s mother) in the drama series, Pretty Little Liars.
