Gregory looks forward to meeting all his fans on the Gold Coast and in Melbourne in April 2017, and will participate in signing sessions throughout each Saturday (10.30am to 5.30pm) and Sunday (11am to 5pm) in both cities.
Gregory Mackay (1976) is an Australian cartoonist and artist best known for his graphic novel, Anders and the Comet.
Born in 1976 Gregory Mackay has been making comics since school. He enjoys drawing and watercolour painting. He likes drawing aeroplanes, and machines as well as building models and painting pictures.
Anders and the Comet was his first book for children and the French edition was in Official Selection at the Angouleme International comics festival in 2017. Anders and the Comet also won a Silver Ledger Award in 2016. The follow up graphic novel, Anders and the Volcano, was published in 2016.
Gregory is also know for his Francis Bear comics series and his satirical work for VICE.com. In 2012 Gregory attended a Graphic Novel residency at the Atlantic Centre for the Arts in Florida and in 2015 he attend the Comic Arts Workshop in Tasmania.
