About Guest
Grant, a Perth native, studied film making at Curtin University before founding his production company, The Penguin Empire, soon after graduating.
His early career as a commercial director gained international recognition, earning him acclaim at advertising award shows worldwide.
Grant made his directorial debut with the sci-fi thriller “I Am Mother,” starring two-time Academy Award Winner Hilary Swank, Clara Rugaard and the voice of Rose Byrne. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival where it was met by rave reviews and was acquired by Netflix for global distribution.
As an Executive Producer, Grant contributed to Roderick MacKay’s debut feature, “The Furnace,” which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2020.
Looking ahead, Grant has projects in development with industry leaders such as Netflix, Warner Bros, and ABC. He is represented by CAA in the US.
