Gerard will be appearing alongside John Jarratt at John’s stand, as well as giving a short Q&A before the screening of What About Sal in both cities.

About Guest
Gerard O’Dwyer is an inspiration and is the beating heart and soul of What About Sal. His awards include Best Actor – Be My Brother (2009 Trop Fest). Best Actor – The Interviewer (2013 The Reelheart Film Festival Canada) Because of Gerard’s achievement in The Interviewer he was flown to Kinofest in Moscow in 2014.
Wearing out VHS tapes in his teenage years, memorizing entire films and favourite lines. Gerard was always going to be an actor. Gerard worked in film, television and theatre, where he works continuously with his theatre company Beyond The Square. Gerard is a respected member of the team in his fulltime job at The Riverside Theatre and is every inch a professional performer.
