Elizabeth looks forward to meeting all of her fans in Brisbane in November 2021.
Elizabeth will give a Q&A panel on The Bureau of Magical Things as part of our Australian Film Showcase at 10:30am on Saturday in Brisbane.
All guests pending international/domestic travel and quarantine restrictions. Stay tuned to our Social Media channels for updates.
Elizabeth played the lead role of the elf, Imogen, in both seasons of Jonathan M. Shiff’s international hit, The Bureau of Magical Things (2018, 2021). Most recently, she was cast in the new Baz Luhrmann film, Elvis.
“[The Bureau of Magical Things] has been very well received both here in Australia and internationally due to its relatability and celebration of goodness, depictions of diversity and the importance and power of friendship,” Elizabeth told Supanova in the lead up to her November appearance, noting that it’s “full of fun and adventure, but also danger and darkness – much like our own world”.
“There is more to our world than what meets the eye; magic exists in the everyday and that love has the power to save the world,” Cullen said. “I hope that you get as much joy out of watching The Bureau of Magical Things as we all experienced whilst making it. We cannot wait to meet you at all Supanova! And remember, Elves Rule, Fairies Drool!”
A burgeoning actor, filmmaker, writer and artist, Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Film and Television and received the Overall Best Filmmaker Award. Her short film Eye for an Eye (2020) won the Best Local Film category at the 2020 Gold Coast Film Festival’s online platform, SipFest.
