Deverill looks forward to showing fans A Place Among The Dead in an interactive online event on Saturday, 13 February 2021.
He will be offering fan quiz after the film, along with attending cast and crew.
About Guest
Deverill Weekes is a producer, writer, director and cinematographer. For years as a stills photographer, Weekes shot news, fashion and celebrity profiles. His photos have graced the covers and inside pages of international and national magazines. As a cinematographer, Deverill collaborated multiple times with Gary Oldman, including Mr. Oldman’s music videos ‘Heaven In Your Eyes’ and ‘Red Rover’.
He shot David Lynch’s award-winning Inland Empire, as well as Rosanna Arquette’s documentary, All We Are Saying, with Sting, Sir Elton John, Tom Petty, Peter Gabriel, Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Yoko Ono. Other documentary films include Inspired By, featuring John Carpenter and Malcolm McDowell. Deverill recently shot an Untitled pilot for NBC. He’s lensed and directed commercials and music videos. Award-winning short films as a director include: Eulogy, Living On A Prayer, Funeral Party, and Waiting. Under the Miss Juliet Productions banner, he produced and shot Take Flight and Dream Out Loud, which he co-directed. He’s currently producing and co-directing The Undead Series with Juliet.
