About Guest
David Hazan is a comic book writer and editor based in Melbourne, Australia. After winning the Mad Cave Studios’ 2019 Talent Search, David exploded onto the comics scene in 2021 as writer and co-creator of their hit medieval noir comic, Nottingham.
Nottingham Vol 1: Death and Taxes hit record sales, with each issue selling out multiple printings. It was also shortlisted for the Comic Arts Awards of Australia. Nottingham Vol 2: A King’s Ransom has been shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards. Volume 3 is currently in production and due for release in 2024. Its sister spin-off series, Tales from Nottingham is currently running and its first issue has sold out and is going to a second printing.
David is due to release a number of new comics in 2023, including the dark fantasy series, Monomyth (Mad Cave Studios), which launches with #1 in May, along with soon-to-be announced titles from AfterShock Comics, Scout Comics and more.
