Christopher Sequeira is an award-winning editor, and writer.
In comic-books he has written for Marvel (X-Men; Iron Man), DC (Justice League Adventures), Dynamite (Justice, Inc. – The Avenger), Boom! Studios (Cthulhu Tales), Frew Publications (The Phantom), Black House Comics (Dark Detective: Sherlock Holmes), and in June 2023 will be announced as writer on an American publisher’s comic-book mini-series spun off a world-famous science fiction TV/Movie franchise.
Sequeira also has a significant profile as a conceptualist, contributing short story writer, and commissioning editor of mystery, science fiction, horror and fantasy prose anthologies. Thus he has worked on such books as Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Was Not, Sherlock Holmes: The Australian Casebook, Dracula Unfanged, and the blockbuster IFWG anthology Caped Fear: Superhuman Horror Stories (featuring all-star authors such as Neil Gaiman, George R. R. Martin and others).
Just recently, for Chicago’s Moonstone Books, Sequeira conceived of and put together the writers for Kolchak the Night Stalker—Nosferatu, a tome which includes an original novella of Sequeira’s.
Forthcoming projects include: The full, expanded, book-length edition of The SuperAustralians graphic novel (with two dozen of Australia’s greatest comics creators); writing the new adventures of former Marvel hero the real-life Canadian stuntman The Human Fly; and—with his colleague W. Chew Chan—scribing the anti-racist graphic novel The Exoneration of Doctor Fu Manchu.
Sequeira was recently made Editor-In-Chief of IFWG Publishing International’s ‘IPI Comics’ and is always on the lookout for talented new creators.
