Christopher Sequeira is a writer and editor who specialises in the mystery, horror, fantasy, science fiction and superhero genres.
In the short-story space he is the conceptualist, editor and a writer for the acclaimed Echo/Bonnier Publishing anthology Sherlock Holmes: The Australian Casebook; and (with Horror Australis partners Steve Proposch and Bryce Stevens) he is co-conceptualist, co-editor and/or a writer for the award and nomination-achieving anthologies Cthulhu Deep Down Under (three volumes) and Cthulhu Land of the Long White Cloud (IFWG Publishing); the forthcoming H. G. Wells’ War of the Worlds: Battleground Australia (Clan Destine Press).
For Supanova, in April, he is proud to launch Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Was Not, the book he conceived and wrote the ‘set-up story’ for, which is to be published by IFWG Publishing, and which features such lauded authors as Bram Stoker Award-winning Nancy Holder, Batman comics legend Denny O’Neil, novelist Rafe McGregor, Comics Mastermind CEO Julie Ditrich, pulp-expert and writer Brad Mengel, comics (The Twilight Age) artist-writer Jan Scherpenhuizen, and Ron (Green Hornet) Fortier.
In the comic-book / graphic novel arena Sequeira has written for Marvel, DC Comics, Boom Studios, and others; and is the writer (with business partner and artist collaborator W. Chew Chan) of the upcoming comics series The Exoneration of Doctor Fu Manchu; and for Frew Publishing he is the writer of various adventures of Australia’s bestselling comic book The Phantom, including Frew readers’ Top 10 for 2018 favourite; Phantom by Gaslight.
