About Guest

Antoinette Rydyr is an artist/writer working in the genres of science-fiction, fantasy and horror usually bent into a surrealist and satirical angle. She works with fellow creator, Steve Carter and together have produced graphic novels, award-winning screenplays and esoteric electronic music.

Antoinette’s story “Every Part of Her” was published by IFWG Publishing Australia in Killer Creatures Down Under. IFWG published her story “Mother Dandelion” in Spawn: Weird Horror Tales, and it was a Finalist for an Aurealis Award.

In 2021, Shooting Star Press published Mister Idealize Leaves the Building, a puzzling picture book of comic proportions with games for children of all ages!

In 2018 their collaborative steampunk western novels, Weird Wild West were published by Bizarro Pulp Press, USA.

They’ve also published graphic novels including Weird Worlds, Bestiary of Monstruum, Femonsters, New World Disorder, Mundo Monstruoso (Spain) and the celebratory resurrection of the infamous Phantastique, ingloriously presented in full colour!

They’ve had comics published by Bloody Gore Comix (Canada) including Kill of the Spyderwoman, and the soon-to-be-released Savage Worlds.
