At the forefront of ground-breaking gaming and eSports technology, MSI is set to take gaming to the next level at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming this month with their new line of laptops.
Known as a leading brand across the globe, MSI’s latest range continues their trend of breakthrough designs and technological innovation. Fans can get “hands on” and test out the new equipment in the Mwave PC Gaming Zone at the Melbourne (20–22 April) & Gold Coast (27-29 April) events, and watch celebrities and gaming influencers experience the fun with the MSI computers on the Imagineers & Gaming stage each weekend.
With a focus on extreme performance, realistic visuals, authentic sound, precise control and smooth streaming, this is what the future of gaming looks like:
GS65 STEALTH THIN GAMING LAPTOP
As its name suggests, the GS65 is about as compact as high-powered gaming notebooks come, but that doesn’t mean MSI have made any sacrifices in terms of performance or style.
Key Features
It’s the first gaming laptop to feature a 144Hz 7ms IPS display with 4.9mm bezels – achieving a stunning 82% screen-to-body ratio.
To power the 144Hz panel, the Stealth Thin is equipped with up to a GTX 1070 with NVIDIA Max-Q technology and the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, which gains up to a 40% performance enhancement over the previous generation.
To ensure all that runs smoothly and users have an uncompromised gaming experience, it’s also equipped with an MSI Cooler Boost Trinity cooling design.
Visually, it breaks all stereotypes traditionally seen in gaming laptops, with MSI choosing a bold new golden accent and trim to make the smallest details of the laptop glint.
It’s incredibly portable, weighing just 1.88kgs and packing more than eight hours of battery life. As if that wasn’t enough, the Stealth Thin also features a new per-key RGB keyboard, and MSI is rolling out a massive update for Dragon Center 2.0 that comes with an exclusive gaming mode.
GE RAIDER RGB EDITION
Inspired by sports cars and the PC Master Race’s love for RGB, the GE63/73 Raider RGB Edition is mesmerising.
Key Features
This model was crafted for ultra-illumination, with RGB lighting on the top cover, keyboard and USB ports. The top cover features 24 separate zones of RGB lighting with more than 16.8 million colours available.
It’s configurable with up to the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics, and can be equipped with up to a 120Hz 3ms or 4K IPS-Level display. It’s also cooled by an MSI Cooler Boost 5 to ensure a stable gaming experience all the time.
GT75 TITAN WITH I9 HEXACORE PROCESSOR
This changes everything. The GT75 Titan is the first laptop with an i9 processor!
Key Features
It looks impressive and that’s because it packs a serious punch. With the introduction of the latest 8th Generation Intel processors, the GT series is taking it one step further by featuring the world’s first Core i9 overclocked processors in a gaming laptop.
It pushes performance with NVIDIA graphics and a mechanical keyboard, and the end result is an uncompromising desktop gaming experience for casual and pro gamers alike.
The GT75 is another model that features MSI’s Cooler Boost Titan cooling design, as well as a six-core 12-thread configuration that results in up to a 70% performance leap over the previous Core i7. This makes the GT75 ideal for users who like to stream their gameplay and those who have advanced multitasking workloads.
Head over to the Mwave PC Gaming Zone at Supanova later this month to try them out yourself!
