TRAVEL

Getting there

There are a number of ways you can travel to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The public transport system in Perth uses paper tickets and the electronic SmartRider cards, which can be purchased at TransPerth Info Centres and selected newsagents. Train

Elizabeth Quay train station is located on the Williams Street side of the Centre and services the Mandurah and Joondalup lines. For timetables visit: http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Timetables

Drive

Access to the Convention Centre Car Park is accessible via Mill Street, Mounts Bay Road and the Riverside Drive off ramp of the Mitchell Freeway.

Parking

Parking is available directly under the Centre, with over 1,500 parking bays that operate 24 hours, 7 days a week. Access is via Mill Street, Mounts Bay Road, or the Riverside Drive off-ramp from the Mitchell Freeway.

Fees:

  • $7.50 per hour or
  • $26.00 Mon-Fri Day Rate (in after 6am and out by 6pm)
  • $11.00 Sat-Sun Day Rate (in after 6am and out by 6pm)

Bus

The Elizabeth Quay Busport is located adjacent to Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Many bus services depart and arrive at the Esplanade Busport including the free CBD ‘Blue and Green CAT’ service.

Perth’s other major busport is the Wellington Street Bus Station, located along Wellington Street next to the Perth Central train station.

Ferry

A ferry service operates across the Swan River between Elizabeth Quay Jetty (Perth) and Mends Street Jetty (South Perth). Elizabeth Quay Jetty is only a short walk to the Centre. Taxi

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is a designated Cab Spot location. A taxi phone is located at their Plaza Entry doors on Level 1. Their Cab Spot number is 1088. To book a taxi, please contact:
