Have you ever wanted to immerse yourself deeper into the world of Elder Scrolls? Then this is your chance. To celebrate the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset, Bethesda will be bringing an Elder Scrolls experience like no other to Supanova Sydney (June 15-17).
Using prosthetics and make up, a lucky few will be transformed into the high elf version of themselves for free. There will also be plenty of cool prizes and giveaways happening during the weekend.
Spots will be limited each day for the opportunity to Elf Yourself, so be sure to get in quickly for your chance to take part.
Summerset is the next chapter in the acclaimed Elder Scrolls series, with beloved characters sent to the ancestral home of the high elves, Summerset Isle, as well as the island of Artaeum, which is home to a group of sages that predate the Mages Guild.
It’s the first time in 24 years that players have visited the sacred grounds of Summerset, with the franchise last visiting the area in The Elder Scrolls: Arena.
With more than 30 hours of new story content, the stunning new zones will play host to new magical powers and characters, an expanded crafting system and more group activities, among other things.
Speaking with Stack, the game’s Creative Director, Richard Lambert, said fans could expect a shake-up when it comes to environments, with the new release feeling “fresh”.
“When we decided to do Summerset after Morrowind, we loved how different the biomes are – Morrowind is almost alien and volcanic, whereas Summerset is extremely high magic and colourful,” he said.
“With this latest chapter, this version of Summerset is dramatically different from that original prototype.
“We have learned so much over the years in terms of how we tell stories and build worlds. I think the team has really knocked it out of the park with Summerset.”
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is out now on PC/Mac, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
