As many of you will be aware, there has recently been a lot of discussion online regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs for the creation of digital images.
Much of this conversation has surrounded the impact these programs could have (and indeed, are already having) on artists, particularly those whose artworks have been scraped and used to educate AI without their knowledge or expressed permission.
As a company that was developed in no small part from a love of comic books, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming has the utmost respect for visual artists and strives to support them in whatever way we can. As such, we will henceforth be prohibiting the sale of AI-generated artwork that has been created using sourced content that the seller does not hold the legal rights to, at all our events.
These changes will be reflected in our Exhibitor Terms & Conditions shortly.
