Touted as the world’s largest pop-culture convention, over the years San Diego Comic-Con has long been a major source of hot new trailers and entertainment news.
When last year’s pandemic outbreak threatened the highly anticipated event, organisers quickly retooled the weekend in Comic-Con@Home, allowing fans worldwide to access live stream panels from some of the largest franchises on the planet. This year, Comic-Con@Home returned for its second outing and brought with it a fresh pile of trailers for eager fans.

Star Trek
During the Paramount+ Peak Animation panel helmed by Jerry O’Connell, Star Trek fans were treated to two new trailers, the first for the upcoming children’s series Star Trek: Prodigy being made in conjunction with Nickelodeon.
And for the bigger kids, a new trailer for the adult comedy series Star Trek: Lower Decks.
The Walking Dead
Long-running zombie series The Walking Dead dropped a new trailer for its upcoming 11th season during their virtual panel, showing Maggie having to don a Whisperer’s mask. This one’s a bit gory, Supa-Fans, so viewer discretion is advised!
Blade Runner
Adult Swim and Crunchyroll have debuted their new trailer for the upcoming anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus, inspired by the Blade Runner film franchise.
Lucifer
Netflix revealed its new trailer for Lucifer’s upcoming sixth and final season planned to be released on September 10.
Dexter
Guess who’s back? Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter Morgan in a new limited series revival Dexter: New Blood on November 7!
Chucky
Speaking of fan-favourite killers, everyone’s favourite killer doll is back with a new series for the SyFy channel. A continuation of the original Child’s Play films (rather than the recent film reboot), Chucky premieres in October.
Army of Thieves
A prequel to Zack Snyder’s recent Army of the Dead, Army of Thieves follows the misadventures of fan-favourite safecracker Dieter during the early days of the zombie outbreak.
