Jamie Campbell Bower has inhabited key characters in various blockbuster franchises, while quietly asserting himself as a dynamic 21st century leading man. The UK-born actor, entertainer, songwriter, and artist has become embedded in the mythos of Harry Potter, The Twilight Saga, Mortal Instruments, Fantastic Beasts, and, most recently, Netflix’s phenomenon Stranger Things.
Jamie initially captivated audiences as Anthony in Tim Burton’s 2007 gothic musical extravaganza Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street alongside Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. After appearing in Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla with Gerard Butler and Idris Elba, he assumed the role of Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 & 2 before co-starring in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. On television, he starred as King Arthur in Camelot and as Christopher Marlowe in Will. Meanwhile, 2018 saw him appear in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
In 2022, Jamie’s portrayal of Vecna/Henry Creel/001 in Season 4 of Stranger Things launched him into a new echelon of stardom. His chilling performance as the show’s enigmatic and terrifying antagonist received critical acclaim, sparking viral fan theories, global media coverage, and widespread cultural fascination. Jamie reprised his role in the highly anticipated final season, which premiered on Netflix in November 2025. Further expanding his genre-spanning legacy, Jamie recently also joined Amazon Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power as a lead and series regular-cementing his place at the forefront of two of the biggest fantasy franchises of all time.
His recent film work includes a role in Kevin Costner’s sweeping Western epic Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1, which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, and a leading turn in Audrey Diwan’s provocative and sensual drama Emmanuelle, a reimagining of the iconic 1970s classic.
Outside of his film and television endeavors, Jamie’s striking look and unique style have made him a standout in the fashion world, developing strong ties with top fashion houses including Burberry and Vivienne Westwood.
